Getting a bit worn out? Time for a short break perhaps? Then why not head to Kununurra in the East Kimberley for Ord Valley Muster from Friday 16 to Sunday 25 May 2014.
The 14th Muster is going to be a huge! With almost 30 concerts lined up, and masses of activities for attendees from the Kimberley region, around Australia and even across the world, it's no wonder this event has become one of the finest event in the national festival calendar.

Airnorth Kimberley Moon Experience
The Airnorth Kimberley Moon Experience returns on Saturday 24 May. You need to grab your tickets now for an evening of superb entertainment against the backdrop of the magnificent Ord River at the Jim Hughes Amphitheatre. Featuring Eskimo Joe, The Waifs, John Williamson and 42 Decibels, come and party with the people under the stars. Just bring your picnic basket, take your blanket, fill your esky, strap on some dancing shoes and you're all set!

Browse the Kununurra Markets for the freshest locally grown fruit and vegetables, the most aromatic coffees, and the yummiest treats. Meet friends here, invite your family and wander around these markets. And why not take home a special souvenir made by the talented locals? Take your pick from photographic prints, boab items, jewellery, crafts and lots more.
The former Street Party has been replaced by Moon Fair. This event is not to be missed for there will be food and music stages to keep everyone entertained throughout the day in addition to heaps of rides and super fun activities. Come with an empty stomach and intrigue your palate with the various food stalls; and don't miss out on the food demonstrations with the popular food educator Stephanie Alexander.
The Muster closes out with Picnic in the Park & Fireworks. So invite your family and friends, bring a blanket, pack some scrumptious eats and enjoy a picnic in the park followed by a spectacular fireworks display.
First time in Kununurra? Then allow Wild Walk to introduce you to the gorgeous country around Kununurra and the local trees and plants. Breathe in the fresh air and immerse yourself in nature as you go on these early morning walks. It's fantastic for anyone reasonably fit as the walks contain some rugged and difficult terrain with some steep hikes.
Don't miss out on the Coomalie Air Maintenance Muster Rodeo as it is guaranteed to be one magnificent spectacle. As the area's biggest rodeo of the year, watch in awe as the handsome cowboys try to stay on the bulls for 8 seconds. There will be live entertainment, a licensed bar and food booths to satisfy you.
Tours are a great way to see the area. Hop on the air-conditioned coach for Carlton Hill Station Tour and discover how a large beef cattle operation is run. Then a scrumptious lunch will be served at the historic homestead and you'll be surrounded by the kind of scenery you'll have only ever seen on nature documentaries.
Diamonds are a girl's best friend and come and see why! Join the Argyle Diamond Mine Tour and see the state's most unique tourist attractions. This exclusive tour gives visitors an insight into a large mining operation and your one and only chance to see how the beautiful white, champagne and pink diamonds are mined. This is guaranteed to be an exceptional experience.
Experience life in the East Kimberley at Graves in the Long Grass where you will explore the famous Ivanhoe Station followed by a delicious morning tea. You'll also visit Dave Suttee's grave at Capsize creek and learn about his life.

Invite your family and friends to Music Under the Stars for an evening of wonderful musical performances at the beautiful Mirima National Park. This outdoor concert features local musicians as well as The Ord Valley Muster Adult Community Choir and the Kununurra DHS Choir.
