Arcuri restaurant is located inside the RACV Resort, Noosa and provided a pleasant oasis on a Sunday night. The restaurant is poolside and adjacent to a wetland sanctuary. Large palms and pandanus trees silhouetted against a spectacular sunset over Mount Cooroy made for a wonderful vista.

Twelve of us decided to try the restaurant's Highlights Menu which showcases a 3 course menu for $39 and a 2 course menu for $34 and we were very pleasantly surprised.

The Highlights Menu changes every month. In October, there was a choice of 2 items per course. I had the crispy wonton with duck salad which was light and flavoursome followed by the pork cheeks which were tender and succulent. Arcuri restaurant has a smart and stylish decor and waitstaff provided timely and polished service. It would be a suitable venue for a special event. Dinner is available 7 days from 6-9pm. On our visit, the waiter advised there is no surcharge on public holidays The venue is fully licensed so no BYO. Parking is easy and onsite.

If you prefer more casual dining, a bar restaurant called Dazza's is an alternative at the resort.  Also located poolside, it offers woodfired oven pizzas and light meals. Maybe next time!
