Archery Arena is bringing the excitement and thrilling action of Archery Tag to Brisbane this Summer!
Opening to the public on Tuesday 24th November 2015, Archery Arena is a sport entertainment venue dedicated to Archery Tag, with two convenient locations in Macgregor and Sunnybank.
Ideal for most ages and skill levels, the game of Archery Tag is similar to Dodgeball and Laser Tag, but with bows and specially designed foam tip arrows so players only feel a tap when tagged by the arrows. This ensures the game is pain and injury free! Unlike some other sports, the only safety equipment required to play Archery Tag is a facemask.
Players move through an outdoor or indoor course and are required to eliminate the other team's players by 'tagging' them with arrows or by catching the arrows shot. There are also 'safe zones' that ensure that players cannot shoot arrows or be tagged out in those areas.
The experience is fun and exhilarating as you have to move quickly and keep an eye on the players around you.
Archery Tag is perfect for families and groups of friends to play and also ideal for celebrations of all kinds.
It's great if you want to get active and the perfect opportunity to learn the traditional skills of archery in a social and enjoyable atmosphere.
Archery Arena will be hosting a Come-and-Try session on Sunday 22nd November 2015. All are welcome to try a short game for free. Then from Tuesday 24th November 2015, there will be 4 games running a week; 2 games on Tuesday at Macgregor and 2 games on Thursday at Sunnybank.
Entry tickets are priced $15 per person and Equipment Hire is $15 per person for adults and $10 per person for students: this fee includes helmet, bow and foam-tipped arrows.
