Located in North Adelaide, offers both traditional pub food and dishes that can be expected to be found in more upmarket restaurants. They also pride themselves in having a sustainable kitchen using ingredients such as Sow Stall Free pork, 100% Australian beef that has never been frozen and 100% Australian chicken from cage-free farms. During our visit we ordered the Chicken Schnitzel, Chicken Breast and Coppers Pale Ale Battered Fish.

Chicken Breast is one of the more "upmarket" dishes that can be ordered, consisting of two chicken breasts with speck, sweet potato puree, asparagus and chicken reduction. The chicken breasts were juicy with the meat nicely complemented by the crispy skin. The pieces of speck (Italian cured, smoked pork) added an element of saltiness to the dish with its flavour balanced out by the sweet potato puree. Everything was tied together by the chicken reduction which gave the dish its delectable flavour.

The Chicken Schnitzel was fried to golden brown with the crisp coating being a great contrast to the tender flesh. It was accompanied with a refreshing salad and chips which were fluffy and had just the right amount of salt. The pepper sauce I chose to be served with the dish had the right thickness and a moreish peppery flavour. Other choices for the sauce are mushroom, Diane and gravy with the option of having a beef schnitzel instead.

While the coating of the Coppers Pale Ale Battered Fish was a bit soft, the fish was still cooked to perfection with the fries done as well as the ones that came with the Chicken Schnitzel. It came accompanied with a serving of tartare sauce and a lemon wedge that can be squeezed over the fish before you eat it.

offers a good range of daily specials, such as Salt and Pepper Squid for $13 on Mondays and $13 Schnitzels on Tuesdays. The restaurant has a charming, rustic ambience with a good amount of seating space with a good amount of parking space located on the streets next to the restaurant.
