With so many horror photos of beauty mishaps popping up on the net and voices all around pleading to do our research prior to any beauty treatment, I thought it best to give a rest to my regular eye couture routines. But that resolve lasted only till I quite accidentally stumbled upon a set of postings on Instagram of well-feathered brows and dream-like lashes. Just one call and I was rushing in to find the culprit of the enticing postings: ARC. co , Bella Vista. I found the chic boutique salon specialising only in brows and lashes without much effort perched among several office blocks in the heart of the busy business district in Norwest.
First impressions do matter and I was surely impressed the minute I set foot inside the stylish little salon (the salon operates by appointment only so the security doors are opened only when you arrive having booked a prior appointment). If the posh clean interior does not put you at ease the two therapists at work most certainly do. Mariana, who was trained at the Phi Academy by world-famous microblade artist Branko Babic, surely knows what she is talking about when it comes to brow couture. She explains the procedures with meticulous details like the pro she is and dives into what she loves most: creating flawless strokes of life-like brow hair. I watched her a while painstakingly mimicking hair stokes to create that perfect brow and was quite ready to go through the procedure myself.
Sonia specialising only on lashes is indeed a godsend for believers turned non-believers like me. She carefully and masterfully handcrafted my lashes gaining my trust with every delicate parting and placing that ended with volume and length. Practice, patience and professionalism come into play as Sonia takes her time crafting perfection, like a musician at work.

With a happy heart and dreamy lashes, I bid the ladies of ARC. co goodbye, knowing well that my eye couture routine would continue with restored faith in professionalism in beauty therapy.
