Dig in to some terrific Spanish food
I am a huge fan of Spanish food and am always looking for new restaurants to try out. Arcadia was next on my list and it was everything I could have asked for and more. The décor is welcoming and fun; while the staff are jovial and helpful.
I also tried the Whipped Cheese & Pesto Stuffed Button Mushrooms with Spanish Romesco Sauce which was deceptively tasty. I thought it was going to be too healthy but it hit the right spot. The mushrooms were cooked just right and the cheese added an extra dimension to the meal. The Sangria went down very well, with plenty of fresh fruitiness and a kick of alcohol.
For mains, I had the Mixta paella which was packed full of flavours including chicken, chorizo, prawns and calamari – I avoided the scallops and mussels. The mix was tantalising and works extremely well together. The seafood element only added to the charm of the dish. Even though I was full, I still had a couple of Spanish Churros for dessert.
I highly recommend Arcadia for anyone who wants to experience delicious Spanish food in a great setting.
