Ever gone to an Arabian horse show - now is your opportunity
The Arabian Jackpot Show 2018 is coming to the Swan Valley for the very first time! Having an Arabian Horse Show is a wonderful way to promote the beautiful, timeless Swan Valley Region. This event is a free to attend public event, so you can come and enjoy being part of the excitement that will be here.

The show is hosted by the Australasia Pacific Arabian Horse Organisation (APAHO) Association Incorporated. This Association recognise all registered Arabian Horses and Arabian Derivative Horses. If you do not ride horses, this event will still be interesting as they will have the following to see and do:

An amazing trick riding performance by Girls Girls Girls
Food vans including Blue Cow Cafe
Guest speakers - including Belinda Harrison
Natural horsemanship display (Calm and Connected Clinic) by Mark Langley from Victoria
Trade stalls
And more

There will also be the Grant Woodham & Chris Fayle Show commentators, as well as some raffles.

The event will be on 2nd and 3rd June, 2018 and held at the State Equestrian Centre, Cathedral Avenue, Brigadoon. The aim is to help promote the purebred and derivative bred horses. This is a wonderful breed and the organisers are wanting to entice new people interested in the Arabian horse industry.

There are also awards, sashes and trophies given at this show, and they have unique masterpieces from all over the world. There is also "Jackpot Cash" in every Jackpot class. These jackpots are a percentage of all the entry fees collected. There are a prestigious line up of International visiting judges as well as Australian judges. This year's judges are;

Dr. Marc Somerhausen - Belgium
Terry Holmes - USA

These shows are always very social events, and also very entertaining. There is always a mix of competition and entertainment for all. The Arabian Jackpot Show was created and is successfully run by a promotions team developed by Arabian horse breeder, Katherine Scott of Torquata Arabians.

Katherine wants to promote the very finest of the Arabian horse breed here in Western Australia to a "world audience". At each Jackpot Show, there will be a different decoration theme and in this year, this theme will be "elegant Black & White with a touch of glamour".

Mark Langley is one of the guests for this next event and will give training demonstrations as well as speaking about the breed. Mark is delighted to have been asked to demonstrate at the Arabian Jackpot Show! You can read all about Mark at this website.
