Shake it till you make it
Try Aqua Zumba for a fun fitness workout. This party in a pool is a low impact safe water based activity that provides benefits in toning and conditioning. As the name implies it is a combination of Aquarobics and Zumba. The dance moves are performed by watching and mirroring the poolside instructor. Most classes are 45 minutes long but the time flies when you are "dancing" to tunes like Footloose, Fireball and Girls Just Want To Have Fun.
Although low impact, you still get a good workout and if you up the intensity, you can get cardio benefits. The water provides natural resistance to your muscles whilst supporting the joints. You also don't get as hot and sweaty in the pool.
The moves are quite easy to follow as they are slower than a usual Zumba class and no one can see if you make a mistake. Shimmy & shake to your heart's content because 'what happens underwater stays underwater' and you will end up feeling happy and relaxed.
