As the weather warms we turn to thoughts of eating outside in the sunshine. Melbourne has a host of free barbeques that you can use. And here is a list here.
But there are also Christmas functions and get-togethers where the thought of a barbecue appeals, but it is also on the cards to do something totally memorable. Something that will keep the family, circle of friends or colleagues talking about it long after the event.
If big party boats down the Yarra don't suit, then perhaps you would like to try Aqua Donuts, which is all the fun of being out in the water, but which also pairs with being able to have a barbecue outdoors.
You will certainly be an attractive sight out there in the water in your brightly coloured vests, large umbrella to keep the sun off and donut shaped boat.
As you can tell from the photos Aqua Donut is a floating device with a barbecue in the middle so that you can have a unique dining experience as you cruise along the picturesque waters of the Docklands.
It's a whole other world out there with all those expensive yachts and the unique view of Melbourne's towering skyscrapers with the giant Melbourne Star Observation Wheel looking down at you.
