Adelaide is going one step further again than everyone else, in true Radelaide style and putting on an impressive free water show in Victoria Square, but this time it's to live music (normally it's just recorded!) and even bigger than last year.
The event is being held on Saturday July 15th 2017, with activities starting from 5.30pm and performances beginning at 7pm. Wrap up warm and get down to the square early to make sure you get the best seat by the water fountains. Kids will love the space to run around, just be mindful of them getting wet and cold running around the water!
Hosted by City of Adelaide and Splash Adelaide, this event is part of a long line of successful projects whereby the city's streets and spaces are being bought to life, through a series of community-run urban events that increase the vibrancy and vitality of the city.
Aqua Beats describes the event perfectly and will appeal to all tastes of music whilst dancing the night away under the stars. More details on performers will be announced over the next couple of weeks, with the funk and soul of Chloe Castledine, grunge rock of Tympano and emerging singer-songwriter Nataya already confirmed so keep an eye on their event page.
There will also be a selection of food trucks and hot drinks available throughout the night, along with market within a licenced area.
Don't miss this one day only unique event and be a part of something astounding for Adelaide!
