These school holidays, Macquarie University will be hosting Robotics Camps for children as young as K-2, all the way through to high schoolers.

These holiday workshops run for one day or a two day 'camp', aimed at different levels and ages.

Learn how the basics with Lego Robotics or the older children can move into NXT/EV3 Robot and take on more advanced robotic challenges.

The Beginner Camps are as follows:
Beginner K-2 & Beginner 3-6 (Apr 11 - 12)
Beginner K-2 (Apr 13)
Beginner K-2 & Beginner 3-6 (Apr 14 - 15)

The Intermediate camps are held on 18-19 April, divided into the school years 3-6 or 7-12 (not ages).

The Advanced level is for High School years 7-12 on April 20 - 22.

The places are disappearing fast, so book your tickets here .

Give your kids a chance to find a new hobby, and who knows, you may find your teenager wanting to join a team for the competitive Robotics competition, the varsity sport for the mind.

For those that want to see where this can lead to, the FIRST Robotics Competition 2016 Australian Regional will be held at Sydney Olympic Sports Centre on the 18th - 19th March. It's free to watch so head down and see the robots tackle the 2016 Stronghold Challenge.
