This April, there will be a wide range of free & ticketed events across Adelaide and its surrounds.

Events include festivals, fairs, family-friendly markets, workshops, concerts, performing arts, and much more.

1. Meadows Easter Fair
When: Thursday, 1-5 April 2020
Where: Mawson Rd, Meadows
Cost: Free
Details: This family-friendly Easter fair will showcase 30 plus stalls within various rooms and another 90-100 stalls outside in the carpark showcasing a wide range of gifts, fashion, homewares, plants, food stalls, and much more. There will also be plenty of family-friendly entertainment, activities and attractions.

2. Easter Sunday Farmers' Market
When: Sunday, 4 April 2021: 8:30am-12:30pm
Where: The Royal Adelaide Showgrounds, Goodwood Rd, Wayville
Cost: Free
Details: There will be everything you need for Easter with freshly baked goods, including hot cross buns, local farm-fresh produce, South Australian milk & dairy, artisanal cheeses, gluten-free goods, flowers, food stalls & ready-to-eat stalls, and more. There will also be a free jumping castle for the kids.

3. Freddy Fudara Live at Cafe Komodo
When: Sunday, 4 April 2021: 3pm-6pm
Where: Cafe Komodo, 118 Prospect Rd, Prospect

Details: This event will showcase Freddy's unique modern style, as he plays and sings a fusion of Brazilian Bossa Nova, Latin and Spanish standards, French chansons, Italian canzone, and Crooners and classics from the 60s & 80s.

4. Ben Elton

Details: Ben Elton exploded onto the comedy scene more than 30 years ago. This April, he will be performing live at The Barton theatre.

5. Brilliance & Tenderness- Symphony Series 2
When: Friday, 9 & 10 April 2021: 6:30pm-7:40pm
Where: Adelaide Festival Centre, King William St, Adelaide
Cost: Adults: $60pp & Children: $25pp
Details: This concert will showcase Robert Schumann's concerto. You will hear the relationship between husband and wife comes to life in music of glowing brilliance and tenderness.

6. The Wedding Singer Musical
When: Friday, 9-24 April 2021
Where: Her Majesty's Theatre, 58 Grote St, Adelaide
Cost: Tickets range from $79-$139pp
Details: This Australian premiere Broadway musical will showcase a feel-good, romantic musical, as well as nostalgia with cassette players, ATARI, slap bands and outrageous hair.
The musical is set in 1985. Hair is huge, collars are up, and a wedding singer might be the most fantastic guy in the room. The writer of the original smash-hit movie starring Adam Sandler and Drew Barrymore, The Wedding Singer Musical achieved a Tony Award nomination for Best Musical.

7. Gathered Design Market

Details: This market event will showcase a day out with family and friends shopping amongst beautifully-styled spaces, which will feature a wide range of homewares, candles, flowers & plants, accessories, kid's ranges, art & craft, fashion, beauty & skincare, artisans goods, personalised gifts, and much more.

8. Wedding Expo

Details: This expo will bring together a massive selection of Adelaide's best wedding-day suppliers. There will be a perfect mix of style, elegance, and attentive service, with stalls and exhibitors showcasing wedding dresses, makeup, hair, reception venues, flowers, jewellery, and much more.

9. The Wiggles Concert

Details: The Wiggles will be performing live this April as part of their We're All Fruit Salad Tour. 11. Miraculous Mozart- Matinee 1
When: Wednesday, 14 April 2021: 11:30am-12:30pm
Where: Elder Hall, North Terrace, Adelaide
Cost: Adults: $40pp, Concession: $35pp, Children: $20pp, Under 30yrs: $30pp & Family: $90 per family.
Details: The symphony by the 19-year-old Mozart is one of his 'miracle' pieces, a masterpiece from its brilliant opening movement to its comic finale.
The concert will showcase rage to exultation. Haydn's concert aria is a picture of a woman in emotional torment promised in marriage to one man while yearning for another.

14. Pregnancy, Babies & Children's Expo

16. Queen of Wands Psychic Fair

Where: Blackwood Memorial Hall, 21 Coromandel Pde, Blackwood

Details: This fair will feature clairvoyants, talented card readers, mediums, psychics, healers, spiritual counsellors, astrologers, fortune tellers, and palm readers. 17. The Gospel According to Paul

Details: This performance will present one of Australia's favourite comic actors, Jonathan Biggins. Biggins becomes Paul Keating- visionary, reformer, rabble-rouser, in this hilarious hit. The Show explores Keating's landmark political achievements and personal obsessions.

18. The Move

20. Nigel Westlake & Grigoryan Brothers in Concert

Details: This concert will showcase Nigel Westlake's Concerto for Two Guitars, Toward Takayna, written for Australia's iconic guitar duo, Slava and Leonard Grigoryan. The program will also include the haunting orchestral suite Westlake created from his music for Hannie Rayson's play The Glass Soldier.

21. Hayley Millar Baker (Gunditjmara, AU), Storytelling Through Digital Assemblage

Details: This workshop event will showcase digitally assembling photography and archives where Hayley Millar Baker (Gunditjmara, AU) constructs complex visual insights to past, present and future realms. Her practice uses storytelling as a methodology to reclaim and re-author constructs of history, narrating inherited and personal stories.

This one-off workshop will also see Baker teaching a range of Photoshop techniques for the purposeful construction of imagery and learning how to create a digital image that narrates a personal memory or inherited memory.
