Apex Lakeside Park is located on Gordon Duff Drive just off from Newell Highway in Forbes, NSW. Situated just beside Grinsted Oval and not far from Lake Forves, this park offers plenty of activities to do.

The playground in the middle of the park is a treat for tourists who pass along this area and locals. BBQ, picnic tables and amenities block can be found here as well as ample parking spots. Some murals cover the wall of the amenities block making more colour around this park. You can also find an information board and tourist destination in Forbes and around d the area.

We saw some people fishing on the lake and some children having a dip in the lake water. But one thing that caught my eye was De Havilland Vampire, a single-seat fighter-bomber jet that was fenced off not far from the parking area. This aircraft entered RAAF service in 1949 and was erected at this park in 1971 to commemorate the 50th anniversary of RAAF, Pity the aircraft is not in its best condition anymore.
