Aperture Australia is a Sydney first conference to celebrate the fine craft of photography. The conference will be held over the weekend of the 28th-29th of April and will feature some of Australia's most iconic photographers.
The event is designed to benefit the professional career development of all attendees regardless of skill level. It's a chance to meet eight masters of photography and gain an insight into what life is really like behind the lens.
Speakers at the conference will guide the audience through the intricacies of their craft; from talks on photography gear to what it's like to work for global brands like National Geographic or Huffington Post. Powerful visual presentations will cover imagery featuring documentary photography in extremely remote solo conditions to documenting images of war-torn locations.
