Luxurious weekend escape
Byron Bay is well known for its casual lifestyle, surfing beaches and surrounding beautiful countryside. Located approximately 800km north of Sydney and 170km south of Brisbane, Byron Bay is the place to escape, whether you are after a relaxing holiday or some fun in the sun.

Whilst the area offers plenty of great places to stay, one excellent and centrally located hotel is the Apartments Inn.

Recently built, the 4.5 star hotel is situated in the centre of Byron Bay and within walking distance to beaches, shops, restaurants, cafes and parks.

The Apartments Inn offers several types of self contained apartments each with air conditioning, built in-safe, wired or wireless internet, iPod music dock and flat screen TV.

The rooms are spacious with contemporary dιcor and all apartments (except for studios) feature a modern fully equipped kitchen.

The hotel has a swimming pool, large sun beds and easy access to two restaurants – St Elmo's and Earth & Sea Pizza.

St Elmo's serves modern Spanish tapas dishes and share plates and a large selection of wine. It is open from 4pm till late Monday to Thursday and Noon till late on Friday & Saturday. Visit St Elmo's Restaurant Website for more information and menu choices.

Earth & Sea Pizza and Pasta is a family owned restaurant and is open for lunch and dinner every day. Serving 22 different types of pizza as well as pastas, salads and desserts, the restaurant is fully licensed and available for group bookings.

The hotel's staff are very helpful and happy to accommodate most requests. The rooms are very private and luxurious and well suited for all types of travellers.

For Apartments Inn guests, parking is available under the hotel and there is also paid street parking.

Byron Bay is well set up for tourists and is a well known escape for successful architects, fashion designers, artists, film makers, musicians and alternative health practicioners.

There are several ways to get to Byron Bay.

By air to:
Ballina Airport – approximately 30 minutes from Byron Bay
Gold Coast Airport – approximately 45 hour from Byron Bay

By road:
9 hours north of Sydney, along Pacific Highway,
2 hour south of Brisbane
1 hour south of Gold Coast

Cape Byron Lighthouse – take a guided tour of the lighthouse and explore the maritime history of the Bay.

The Main Beach – patrolled beach, suitable for families.

Watego's Beach – popular with longboarders.

The Pass – one of the most popular surfing beaches.

Tallow Beach – ideal for only experienced surfers.

Crystal Castle – explore magical gardens of giant crystals and sacred statues.

Macadamia Castle – family fun including animal park, cafι, mini golf and playground.

If you are after an adventure, then try skydiving, hot air ballooning, surfing, whale watching, diving or dolphin kayaking.

For those who enjoy shopping, you will find plenty to choose from – art and craft, fashion, homewares, jewellery, skincare as well as delicious foods including Byron Bay cookies.
