There is still time to join in the fun, activities and atmosphere of the Australian Open at Melbourne Tennis Park. There is time and opportunity to get your little ones involved and excited.
This year Australian Open has opened
AO Ballpark for kids for the duration of the championship. There is so much to see and do. All you need is a ground pass, which is only $5 for kids.
Do not worry, there are food stalls with $5 food options and fresh fruit and cool drinks. Just pack your kids and get on the train to Melbourne Tennis Park.
You can choose from these activities:
Lego Play Zone - showcase your building skills and take part in many fun challenges, all Lego.
Medibank Play Park - jump, run, bounce and jump some more on safe and varied equipment. Play some family-favourite games.
NERF Battle Zone HQ - 2 arenas to test your battle skills on NERF Blasters, participate in challenges, join teams and win points
**
ANZ Tennis Hot Shots Fan Zone** - what Australian Open is complete without Hot Shots? Come and show your tennis skills and learn some more from the masters. Join in the fun and get a gift (thanks to ANZ)
AO Stage - those who speak 'kids' will understand what Shopkins Swapkins is. Apparently, it is a big deal and it will be at AO Ballpark. Also, there will be many kids' favourite characters attending and performing. There will be Batman, Barbie, Bob the Builder, Scooby-Doo and
Ice Age characters to name a few. The AO Stage will be the place for special competitions (NERF Blaster) as well.
Come and join the fun. AO Ballpark is open at various times from 16 to 29 January. See the
website for details.
