Nature's best photos
It's Australasia's most prestigious nature photography competition. Photographers from all over the world submit their best nature photos and hope to have their photos included into the exhibition and to be in the running for nearly $50,000 worth of cash and prizes.

All of the 2015 finalists and their photos can be seen and enjoyed on the Australian Geographic website.

ANZANG stands for Australia, New Zealand, Antarctica and New Guinea and the photos entered need to have been taken within their bioregions.

A selection of the finalists' photos will be published in the July/August edition of Australian Geographic just ahead of the official exhibition opening and winners announcement on July 31st at the South Australian Museum in Adelaide.

At the exhibition, the photos of natural flora, fauna and landscapes will be displayed in their categories:

1. Animal Behaviour.
2. Animal Portrait
3. Botanical
4. Landscape
5. Threatened Species.
6. Monochrome.
7. Our Impact.
8. Animal Habitat.
9. Interpretive.
10. Junior (under 18's).

If you love photography, then a visit to the museum to see this exhibition should be on your list of things to do.

There is a People's Choice Award too - voting can only be done by visiting the exhibition. Make sure you vote for your favourite while you're there.

The exhibition will be open to the public from 1st August to 30th August 2015 at the South Australian Museum. Entry fees apply.

Opening hours:
The Museum is open every day from 10am to 5pm, including weekends and public holidays.

Cost:
Museum entry is free.
Entry to the exhibition is Adult $7, Concession $5 and Children under 16 free

I must thank all of you who are behind this site for a wonderful resource.

As an improvement, I would love to know where and when events are that allow, even encourage dogs, to accompany their owners.
