The ANZAC Day Dawn Service at the Shrine of Remembrance, will begin at 4.28am sharp on Monday 25th of April 2016.

The ANZAC Day Dawn Service is a significant part of ANZAC Day commemorations Australia wide. The ceremony usually features an introduction, hymn, prayer, laying of wreaths, playing of "The Last Post", a minute of silence, "Reveille" and concludes with the New Zealand and Australian national anthems.

All are welcome to attend this traditional ceremony.

Following the ANZAC Day Dawn Service, the 2015 Brisbane ANZAC Day Parade will commence at the Shrine of Remembrance, ANZAC Square.

Veterans, serving personnel and descendants of veterans will participate in the parade, which will begin at the corner of George and Elizabeth Streets at 9:30am and will make its way around the CBD.

If you are in Townsville, you can head to the ANZAC Day Dawn Service at ANZAC Park from 5.30am. The ANZAC Day March will then follow at 9:30am.
