Breakfast in the Museum
PLEASE NOTE THIS EVENT IS CANCELLED
ANZAC Day 2015 will be a big day of remembrance. It commemorates the centenary of the First World War. There will also be many events on television, radio and print media. ABC is the official host broadcaster of the Anzac commemorations. There are many diverse programs to acknowledge and remember the Anzacs. The program schedule can be viewed here
Anzac Day march
Having never attended an ANZAC day dawn service or march I have made it a New Years resolution to do so. There may be many others who will also commemorate the day for the first time. Attending an Anzac day service does involve some planning, as one needs to get up way before the dawn voluntarily.
To mark this Anzac day occasion, the South Australian Museum will open for a special breakfast from 8am to help recharge the batteries of those attending the march. A good opportunity for those choosing to attend the Adelaide events.
Commemorating the Anzacs
Information about tickets and the menu will be available via the Museum Cafe's webpage here The Museum Café is a relaxed and welcoming place. There is plenty of seating under the whale skeleton, and the Café's terrace offers patrons a wonderful alfresco experience. However you choose to commemorate the day, it is an opportunity to remember the past and honour those who fought and still do for our country.
