Event:
An opportunity to dress up and support those that protect us
As ANZAC Day approaches and we commemorate all those who have passed, it is hard to ignore the elephant in the room. The incidence of post traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) seems to be growing or it may simply be that we are now more aware and talk about it more, than we used to in times gone by.

There is no doubt that PTSD takes a significant toll on those who choose to undertake careers that put them into traumatic situations - those of our defence forces and our emergency responders. This also has significant impact on those around them. The Road Home, as an initiative of The Repat Foundation and in partnership with The Hospital Research Foundation raises funds to support research into ways to support and care for those affected.

The Repat Foundation - The Road Home 'supports health and wellbeing research for veterans', emergency service personnel and their families to strive for improved health models and outcomes for those who sacrifice so much by putting themselves in harm's way to service and protect our way of life'.
