It Is the Trauma You Don't See
As a family tree researcher with family lost during World War I, I often come across information which highlights the devastation of war both through death in the theatre of war and the beast we now call Post Traumatic Stress.
The Road Home is an amazing organisation that works tirelessly to raise awareness and funds to support health and wellbeing research into conditions which affect the nation's veterans, emergency service personnel and their families. With generous support, they are successfully improving the health and wellbeing of those they seek to serve.
At this very important time of year, we all stop to reflect the sacrifices made. This year The Road Home invites you to join them at their ANZAC Commemorative Cocktail Evening on Friday 27 April 2018 commencing at 6.30 pm, to be held at The Sanctuary, Adelaide Zoo, Plane Tree Drive, Adelaide.
This very important evening commemorates and acknowledges sacrifices made during times of war, while also seeking to raise funding to support their wellbeing.
This will be a night of ceremony, accompanied by food, wine and entertainment by the Australian Army Jazz Band. Funds raised will support research and programs developed to deliver optimal care and health outcomes.
Tickets are available online for $85 General Admission, $80 ADF & Emergency Services Discount or $795 for a table of ten. General admission tickets must be purchased by 23 April 2018, all others by 25 April 2018.
Show your appreciation and join The Road Home for a great night out.
