Open since April 2018, Antojitos Newcastle brings a taste of Mexican street food to the people of Newcastle in a large space that was previously occupied by an Asian grocery. The owner and head chef Eric Flores has brought his passion for this style of food all the way from Northern California to Newcastle via Canberra.



Antojitos is Spanish for little cravings and is commonly used to refer to street food. A newly imported tortilla machine can be seen operating in the open kitchen where most of the ingredients are made in-house. Chargrilled and slow-cooked meats are combined with fresh salsas and homemade corn chips and tortillas. Most menu items are available as chicken, beef, pork, fish, vegetarian or vegan.



They are fully licensed and have plenty of great value beverages . Antijitos serves up delicious, affordable authentic Mexican food that is fresh and not stodgy. You can eat in or have takeaway, children are welcome and there is often a musician in the corner. This friendly fast food "indoor Mexican market" is suitable for groups, families and couples.
