You can surround yourself with what the aristocracy did
Antique Reproductions have been selling antique reproductions since 1997 and operating in Mooroolbark for the past eight years.

The business.

They have two large showrooms, both almost overflowing with beautifully crafted antique furniture.

Most of their stock is based on the French provincial, Victorian and Louis 15th & 16th era.

Some of the vast display.

A look around the showrooms show furniture for almost every room in the house. Chairs of many types and styles, display cabinets, tables of all sizes, lounge suites and even beds.

One item that took my eye was a large writing desk. Such a thing of beauty would inspire you to better writing.

The desk dominates.

Large and small pieces dominate with a huge range of smaller items nicely displayed on the furniture.

Don't put this carving in your bedroom to wake up to.

I was informed that the most popular item sold was the French provincial chaise lounge. They are priced at $1697. The genuine antique item would sell from $5,000 up to many times that amount.

One small item stood out among everything else. That was a globe of the world in a wooden stand. In almost every British television show that contains scenes in historic houses, one of these globes is always present.

Their reproductions are crafted in Indonesia by skilled artisans, who take great pride in their work.

If you can't find what you are looking for from the vast stock it can be custom made for you.

Their motto is 'Today's Reproductions are Tomorrow's Antiques'. With the definition of an antique being something over 1000 years old, that could come true.
