Women's Own Adventure, a specialist travel agent which runs amazing adventures designed by women for women across the globe, is hosting an 'Antarctic Expedition Information Evening' on Wednesday 7th May, at 6pm in Mona Vale, Sydney.
All are welcome to attend this event, which will feature a detailed overview of the upcoming Antarctic Expedition, which will depart Ushuaia during the 2014/15 season.
This Antarctic expedition focuses on the South Shetland Islands and Antarctic Peninsula, home to some of the planet's most impressive wildlife and dramatic landscapes.
There are several expeditions to choose from, running a length of 11 to 15 days:
6th November (13 days) Antarctic in Depth
7th December (15 days) Antarctic Peninsula & Weddell Sea
19th February (14 days) Quest for the Antarctic Circle
12th March (11 days) Antarctic Classic
Each expedition will allow travellers to view seabirds and whales in their natural habitat of snow capped mountains and icebergs and throughout the voyage, the expedition team of lecturers and guides will share their knowledge of the region's remarkable natural history.
The information evening, which will run between 60 to 90 minutes, will consist of comprehensive location information, map & ship information, a sample itinerary and a slide show.
Partners, family members and friends are all invited to attend this event and there will be great deals to take advantage of as well.
