If you like baby farm animals, fairy-floss, photography, hand-made needlework, lollies, home-made fudge and horticulture than this is something you shouldn't miss. Alternatively, if you like reptiles, motocross stunts, circus stunts, rodeo, rides, show bags, side-show alley, live music and informative pavilions then you should drop your weekend plans and come experience the 108th Annual Pine Rivers Show.
Running from the 3rd until the 5th of August this year, the Pine Rivers Show will see the return of many of its favourite acts and performances as well some interesting first-timers.

Also going with the show traditions, the photography, needlework, wine-making, education, horticulture, cooking and arts and crafts (competition entries and winners) will also be on display in their usual designated buildings.
This year, the Pine Rivers Show will also play host to the Looking Glass Theatre (with 10 workshops daily) and 2 shows from FMX Kaos Motorcycles (both on the first night of the show, Friday the 3rd of August). The traditional fireworks show has also been brought forward to Friday the 3rd of August at 7:30pm and another will run at 9pm on the Saturday night, August the 4th.
As well as these displays and performances there are the usual lines and lines of food stalls, show bag pavilions, side-show alley games (complete with people trying to usher you over) and of course, the rides. And if all that wasn't enough to tire you out, the fireworks display at the end of Friday and Saturday night should be enough to tell you that it's time to be getting home.
The price of entry for the Pine Rivers Show is reasonable with adult tickets costing $12.00, pensioners $8.00, high school students $8.00 and any primary school child gaining free entry. The show gates open at 9am all 3 days and close at 9pm both Friday and Saturday and 4pm on Sunday.
There are a number of ways to get to the Pine Rivers Show, located at the Lawnton Showgrounds, 757 Gympie Road, Lawnton.
