Ask any Annerley local where to buy your BBQ meat and each will say the same, 'Go see Paul the Butcher'. He's renowned as the Sausage King and seller of Irish meats along with a few other groceries which he imports from Eire. There is a line out the door on a Saturday and if it's near Paddy's Day, you better get your order in early for his Beef and Guiness pies as they are always sure to sell out.



Paul and his brother have decked the shop out in all sorts of Blarney paraphernalia and collect notes of various denominations from all over the world. There are sausages of all types and flavours along with the pork pies, black pudding, sausages, cornish pasties, scotch eggs and mushy peas.



You can also purchase some Tayto's potato chips, Club Orange and Barries tea so the homesick and Plastic Paddy's alike can indulge in their favourite treats from home.

I highly recommend the Beef and Guiness Pies along with any of the pork sausages as they are always fresh and tasty. We love to get our Christmas ham from Paul too as it's always just right in the salt and smoke department. It's worth the trip if you don't live nearby as he really does live up to his reputation!
