The festival will be on over two days for the first time since it began 12 years ago. This community event showcases the best food from restaurants in the Macarthur region. It will use only the freshest local produce available. Organisers work with many of the area's growing vineyards and breweries to show the best wines and beers from across Camden, Campbelltown, and Wollondilly.
The Macarthur region is one of the last remaining food areas which is close to the Sydney Central Business District. The botanic gardens support the local industries that supply fresh produce to the Sydney market.
Macarthur also has an increasing food scene with foods from a variety of cultures on offer.
They have a children's zone, live music and demonstrations/workshops. The VIP experiences will be released shortly so keep an eye on their Facebook page
There will also be childminding packages so parents can enjoy the event knowing that their children are being looked after on the same grounds as they are on.
This event is from now on going to be a quarterly event being held in May, November, and February. Each event will operate at the end of the season and they will include a Saturday night for November and February timeslots to enjoy the warmer months!
To drive there, you will find there is free on-site parking for this event.
This function is brought to you by Eat Shop Love, The Australian Botanic Gardens and the AnnanROMA.
