Music, art, food, film, books, languages, travel. I like these things and like to write about them as well.
The Annandale Heritage Festival takes place on Sunday the 21st of April at the Hunter Baillie Memorial Church on Johnston Street. The sandstone church, which has been standing since 1889, boasted the tallest spire in New South Wales until 2000 and this event offers a great chance to visit this historic structure.
There will be an exhibition outlining the area's heritage as well as organ recitals at 1, 2 and 3 pm and an afternoon tea will be provided.
There will also be a guided walking tour of Annandale's war memorials from 2pm for which bookings are essential (cost $25).
