'Annabelle' is a 2014 Horror movie staring Annabelle Wallis, Ward Horton and Tony Amendola. This movie is a prequel to the 2013 film 'The Conjuring' where two paranormal investigators Ed and Lorraine Warren help a family remove a dark presence from their home.

'Annabelle' begins' in 1968 with the original scene from 'The Conjuring' where a young couple are telling Ed and Lorraine Warren about their experiences with a doll called Annabelle which they believe is haunted.

Directed by John R. Leonetti and written by Gary Dauberman, the story continues into 1969, to a couple called John (Horton) and Mia (Wallis) Form who live in Santa Monica and are expecting their first child. Mia collects dolls, so John buys Annabelle for her collection. Mia loves her and puts her with the rest of her dolls.

That night Mia hears a scream coming from their neighbours home, Mia and John go outside to check It out and there's blood everywhere. Mia returns home to call the police when she is attacked by a woman holding Annabelle. After that night they get rid of Annabelle, or so they thought. The couple begin to experience terrifying supernatural occurrences involving a doll that keeps returning.
