AFASG 2016, Anisong, Suntec

Anime Festival Asia (AFA), the region's largest and most followed Japanese popular culture and anime festivals, returns this year with its ninth edition. It will mark the last J-pop events of the year.



Visitors can look forward to attend various activities listed in the festival programmes. There is something for everyone. Expect Japanese popular music and anime. There will be special themed dedicated zones based on anime blockbusters.

Cosplayers will gather too. Meet and greet with your beloved characters like Rilakkuma and celebrity cosplayers like Angie, Baozi and Hana, Enako, Kaname, Mon, Reika, and Ying Tze in this annual anime festival.



Festival event guide could be found here. Fans can meet with behind-the-scenes talents, DJs and idol groups. A star-studded line-up of Anisong legends, as well as up-and-coming artistes, will take on the I Love Anisong stage during its highly popular evening concerts.

Twelve artistes and artiste groups will perform at I Love Anisong Concerts. Six returning Anisong legends who have performed to sold-out concerts in Singapore are T.M.Revolution, JAM Project, HoneyWorks / CHiCO with HoneyWorks, Aimer, KOTOKO, and May'n.

Six exciting new additions are HOME MADE KAZOKU, Minori Chihara, Ami Wajima, Alisa Takigawa, Konomi Suzuki and Wake Up, Girls! will be showcased on stage this year. Get to enjoy the ultimate Japanese popular culture and anime concert experience.



The festival opens on 25 November from 9.30am to 8.00pm. It will close on Sunday at 7pm. Tickets are sold here. Tickets start from S$13 for festival access.

Japanese food and beverages are available too. A wide variety of choices to choose from Beard Papa, Shokudo, Watanabe Coffee, Nirai Kanai, Monster Curry, Kajiken, Rengaya, to Keisuke.
