Take your family on an alternative animal encounter
The animals are coming to the Art Gallery of Western Australia and everyone is invited to join in the fun. From 7 June the Animal Ark exhibition will feature works from the State Art Collection that show the many ways animals have been portrayed by generations of artists.

The exhibit explores the use of animal motifs in art, history and myth. The range of paintings, sculpture and decorative art will illuminate the differences and perhaps the similarities between humans and animals and the many ways they relate to each other.

Animal Ark runs until 19 October. Admission is free.
