- Itasha
ITASHA literally means a "painful car"! it is a Japanese term for an otaku fad of individuals decorating the bodies of their cars with fictional characters of anime, manga, or video games.

The reasoning behind the name is that it would be very embarrassing to drive around in a car like this. However, Itasha drivers in Japan and indeed, all over the world, are not embarrassed to share their passion.
