The magical world of animated figures in film & commercials
Libraries are so much more fun now than there were when I was a child. These days libraries are an experience; they hold book reviews, presentations, kid's activities, learning and research as well as loaning out many books to the community.
Commenced in November 2018 and run in the Adelaide Library Media Lab until 20 February 2019, the award-winning South Australian-based animation company, Anifex, is presenting an exhibition of models from original work in feature films, short films and advertising – The Magic of Stop Motion Animation.

Anifex was founded by Richard Chataway and Michael Cusack, who together with a production team, have produced some of the world's finest award-winning commercials. The team can produce any type of animation you can think of, ranging from clay, cel, model, stop motion, computer-generated animation, as well as live action and special effects capabilities. Different from other companies, Anifex owns the studio, have a fully equipped model workshop, extensive camera department and motion control rig, all of which is housed in the one building.
