Angus and Rose is a cute little café and gift shop situated in The Briars in Mt Martha. After checking out the local wildlife in the nature reserve or visiting the display centre featuring taxidermic native animals, Angus and Rose is the perfect place to stop and have a cup of coffee. It is also kid friendly, with tables lined with paper and pencils on hand for children to enjoy a babycino and a drawing session.


The menu is limited but hopefully it may be expanded upon over time. However, after your coffee you can enjoy a meander through the rose garden out the back. Featuring lots of different varieties of roses, the garden climbs up the hill, giving you a beautiful outlook over The Briars. The garden does get muddy following rainy days, so bring along your gumboots.


[ADVERT]Angus and Rose also hosts kids parties and offer a number of earthy themes including ladybirds, butterflies, caterpillars or gnomes, as well as the usual favourites such as fairies, princesses and pirates. Recently they have also developed a Mad Hatter Tea Party for older children with 'eat me' cupcakes, party games and oversized furniture. Parties start from around $20 per person.

Angus and Rose provides an enchanting venue to enjoy a coffee, browse through some unique gifts or to host an earthy kids party.
