Presented by North Perth Local and City of Vincent, this free and popular family friendly community festival attracts over 40,000 people and is filled with fun activities throughout the day for the whole family. It features over 100 of Western Australia's best handmade and designed art and craft, fashion, street food, fresh produce, vintage and community stalls, along with free entertainment and offers from the many cafes and restaurants in North Perth.
Angove Street Festival 2015
There is a huge program of activities and events scheduled for the day to encourage visitors to explore the community, diversity and treasures of North Perth, including:
Bendigo North Perth Community Bank Eat Street As long term supporters of the event, Bendigo Community Bank is sponsoring the festival's dedicated Eat Street, which presents freshly made food delights from cafes and a range of street food stalls that will line the street. This is in addition to food offers from Angove and Fitzgerald Street cafes, such as The Old Laundry, Wrap n Rice, Metrios, Milk'd, Fiorentina and Miss Watson's Garden.
The transformation of the street into a delicious, bustling food market place will have you pondering for paella or salivating for satays! Take your pick from burgers, choc pots, Asian food, freshly shucked oysters, Mexican, fish and chips, Japanese cuisine and much more. Options for those with a sweet tooth include homemade cupcakes, icy poles, churros, French pastries, crepes, vegan desserts and plenty of other sweet treats.
City of Vincent Community Stage and Rosemount Music Stage and Busker Zones Providing the pumping entertainment, live music and performances this year is the City of Vincent's Community Stage as well as Rosemount Hotel's music stage, which will feature many talented local performers and musicians. A variety of family acts by local community groups and schools will take centre stage. Entertainment In addition to the full day of live music entertainment, look out for internationally acclaimed and award winning aerial dance company Natural Wings - a trapeze performing duo who will be soaring through the streets of North Perth performing at 11:30am and 1:30pm.
The Department of Parks and Wildlife's Great Gardens Food Theatre will feature sustainable gardening information where advice can be sought from experts the River Guardians, and don't miss the Brownes Dairy life-sized cows and yoghurt caravan with free yoghurt samples!
Paragon Property Playground
Children are definitely not forgotten at the festival with a kids playground on Woodville Street, with a variety of free activities to entertain the little ones. Among the activities is Old MacDonald's Baby Animal Farm, bouncy Andy Andriod Robot, face painting, Magic Pop Magician, arts and crafts activities and market stands serving treats.
Golden Days Vintage Markets These vintage markets held on the last Sunday of each month in the Rosemount Hotel carpark will bring joy to vintage lovers at the festival. The markets feature vintage clothing stalls, second hand records, wares, bric a brac and so much more - making it a must for browsing.

Art and Craft Stalls With such an artistic and community culture in North Perth, the talent and creativity of local designers and craftspeople will be showcased and celebrated at the festival with the many shopfronts on the street as well as over 70 art and craft stalls by local artisans and creators. Shop and browse through everything from unique handmade jewellery and ceramics to gifts and clothing made by local talent in the community.
North Perth Primary P&C Zone
Look for the rainbow balloon arch above the traditional school fete zone, which will be conducted by North Perth Primary School on Albert and Olive Streets. Enjoy a range of old school fete stalls such as a lemonade stand, white elephant stall, plant stall, clothing sales, cake stall and a sausage sizzle, as well as plenty of fun and active activities and games for the whole family including crazy hair and disguise and lob-a-choc prizes.
Angove Street Festival 2015
