The owners of Angels Bayside Cafe, Michael and Cheryl, are very keen to make this venue a one-stop shop for food, beverage and entertainment. The cafe offers both indoor seating and al fresco dining.

This is one of those small businesses where the owners recognise the importance of being on hand and working side by side with staff, leading by example. We visited on a sunny Sunday, the cafe was very busy with people coming and going continually. Michael showed great attention to serving our table, promptly delivering the menu, which for a small cafe was quite extensive and very reasonably priced.
Cold water was then brought to the table by wait staff, quickly followed by our very tasty coffees, not too hot and just the right strength. A moderate period of time passed and our lunches arrived, I have to say we were impressed with both the quality and quantity of our meals.
We noticed some tables displayed reserved signs, a little unusual in a cafe. Upon enquiry Michael advised a four piece band would be entertaining with blues music from 2 till late. This is offered every Sunday, free of charge, and as it's so popular, out door tables can be reserved. This café is licensed and has a large selection of beers and wines available to complement meals.
Sunday is not the only theme day at Angels Cafe. Each day of the week Michael and Cheryl offer a menu unique for that day, for example Wednesday's delight is home made soup, Thursday offers quiche - again home made - and Friday's special is fish and chips. Black board specials start from $8.00, however the most expensive item we could find on the menu was under $20.00
This cafe is a spin off from the catering business also operated by this dynamic duo. Angels Catering Service offers event catering from Kiama to Tuross Head & from the Southern Highlands to Jervis Bay. All kind of events are catered including weddings. The quality in their cafe meals certainly reflects knowledge and experience in the catering industry.
Sometimes when on holiday you really just want somewhere cheap and cheerful with good quality food and the choice of soft drink or wine, where beach dress is accepted and children can be themselves, this place is perfect.
