Based on the universally popular poetry of TS Eliot

Before you catch CATS on the big screen this Christmas, witness the original musical, live on stage in Brisbane! Playing at Schonell Theatre for two weeks only. Tickets are now on sale!

Presented by Queensland Musical Theatre, Andrew Lloyd Webber's CATS is directed by newcomer Kade O'Rourke and choreographed by Jo Badenhorst.

The cast includes some of the best talent in Brisbane, who will sing and dance up a storm, backed by a 16-piece orchestra conducted by Julie Whiting.

Based on the universally popular poetry of T.S. Eliot, CATS tells the story of the Jellicle Cats, this time set in a larger-than-life abandoned theatre. A sung-through musical, it features all the popular songs by Andrew Lloyd Webber, including the smash-hit 'Memory'.

Since its world premiere at the New London Theatre on 11 May 1981, CATS has been presented in over 30 countries, translated into 15 languages and has been seen by more than 73 million people worldwide.

Don't miss this opportunity to see the musical theatre phenomenon at Schonell Theatre.

The cast bringing this iconic musical to life include Alison McKenzie as Grizabella, David McLaughlin as Munkustrap, Puawai Herewini as Old Deuteronomy, Eric James as Gus, the Theatre Cat and fresh from their successes in Annie are Darcy Rhodes as Rum Tum Tugger, Giaan Hoffman & Jade Kelly as Jemima and Lisa Mellor as Jennyanydots.
