Are you tired of going to those big book stores that more times than not have awful service and are too complex to find anything? Do you wish that you could find a smaller book store that has a decent book selection, but also has customer service focused on your needs? Of course, if the store also had a section for your kids to play with toys and games it would bring a smile to any parent's face, and an accessible location is a must. If that's what you're looking for then
Anderson's Book Shop is the place for you.
Anderson's Book Shop is a cute, little, family-owned book store in Downtown Downers Grove. Anderson's has a nice variety of children books from
Frozen to
Cat in the Hat to
Star Wars. They also have a whole bunch of fun toys and games available for purchase. There is even a little train table for your kids to play with while you're shopping.
In addition to the children's books, Anderson's has a nice selection of teenage and adult books. They have science fiction, fiction, nonfiction, romance, action, and many more genres available.
If you aren't entirely impressed yet, then just wait. There's more. Anderson's is just a few blocks from the Downers Grove train station and is surrounded by many little cafés and stores. If you're ever in the Chicago area and have a day free, then take a train to the best, friendliest book shop around.
