If you've ever wanted to walk the popular 'Andalusian Coast to Coast Walk - the Mediterranean to the Atlantic' come along to our information evening, meet like-minded people and lace up your boots. Our 2018 adventure will start from Malaga in April 2018 and finish in Madrid in May 2018.
Trekking through farmlands and forests

This extraordinary 29-day trip takes you into the wild heart of Andalusia's majestic sierras.

Venture from the Mediterranean to the heartland of Andalucia through Natural Parks and mountain villages. This ancient landscape has traces of early man; the Phoenicians, Carthaginians, Greeks, Romans, Visigoths, Berbers and Arabs. Not only will you be dazzled by the spectacular views, you may see ibex, deer, mongoose, eagles and vultures in the wild.

Sierra de Alhama

The second half of the tour takes its time, staying a few days in each chosen hiking area – Grazalema, La Costa de La Luz and the Aracena Natural Park. Other highlights of the trip include visits to Cadiz, Europe's oldest city and port, and Sevilla the vibrant capital of the region.

If you love the great outdoors and adventure, you won't want to miss this once in a lifetime tour!

Quaint hotels (Antequera)

Best of all, the 29 day itinerary is punctuated with off days every four days or so, where participants can do their own thing - they can choose to explore or rest! The gear will also be transported each day, so only a day pack is required.

Hello there!
I'm glad to see stuff from Spain! I am from Spain, from the south in fact and I'd like to point this track:
It is called "El caminito del rey" (literally the king's little track). It used to be as dangerous as that article says but it is not like that any more. Now it is safe and it's been rebuilt so any one can enjoy it. For a long time was kind of abandoned (such a pity) and may people couldn't or wouldn't do it due the lack of experience or gear or bravery (insanity?) to do so.
It is in the south so anyone doing coast-to-coast through Andalucía, Spain, should (seriously) do it. I really recommend it.
From March to May is the best time of the year to do it: not much rain, not much cold, and not much heat (which you should avoid when walking the south of Spain).
I hope it inspires someone!
