Anatomy of a Suicide explores the lives of three intergenerational women, as they struggle through addiction, trauma, loss, and pain.

The style of the performance is unique in the sense that each of the stories is told on stage simultaneously, with actors interjecting their lines throughout scenes. Whilst this is smart and smooth in its execution, for the audience it can take a bit of adjustment to be able to comprehend the narrative in this nonlinear fashion.

With a running time of 105 minutes, there is no interval. This adds a subtle dimension to the play as the audience is required to stay with the pain and turmoil that each of the characters is facing, and there isn't a break for anyone.

Whilst this a play that tackles and brings attention to some very hard-hitting topics, it does so with strong performances throughout, sensitivity and the occasional well-placed dash of humour.
