The Silk House traces the story and experiences of 3 women (one being an Australian history teacher) who are connected to a historic boarding house in the UK with a troubled past. What secrets does it hold? It is a thrilling mystery sprinkled with witchcraft. Like all of Kayte's novels, the characters are engaging and the description of their lives are so beautifully described that it's so easy to be captivated by their tales.

The Silk House has just hit the shelves, having been released on 30 June 2020 by Hachette Australia . Be sure to hear from Kayte as she talks through the behind the scenes stories that led to this compelling new novel.

Kayte has had a career working as a book, magazine and web editor and writer. She has more than two decades of publishing experience and is the former editor of Gourmet Traveller WINE magazine.

Sounds interesting! I haven't read much historical fiction in a while but I like the sound of this one.
