Child film star and Hollywood royalty, Drew Barrymore is bringing her talk show to Australia for two shows in Brisbane and Sydney in August 2024.



US actress and television presenter, Drew Barrymore has led a Hollywood life starring at age 6 in the epic sci-fi drama, ET. The daughter of actor John Barrymore, Drew continued to forge her career and lead in rom-coms such as Words and Lyrics (With Hugh Grant), The Wedding Singer and 50 First Dates (both with Adam Sandler) and Charlie's Angels. Such were her Hollywood connections that her Godmother was Italian actress, Sophia Loren and her Godfather, acclaimed Director Steven Spielberg.

In a slight departure from feature films, Drew's career now sees her as a popular US talk show host welcoming other stars to join her in conversation in front of a live studio audience. And now she is bringing her New York-based show to just two cities in Australia, Brisbane and Sydney, for a heart-warming and memorable evening of shows.

During the show, Drew will host conversations with Australian celebrities as she interviews musicians and public figures including:
Sydney – G Flip Drummer G Flip, Tones and I, Dannii Minogue, Michael Klim and First Nations singer, Baker Boy.
Brisbane – Dannii Minogue, Baker Boy, Wildlife Warrior Terri Irwin, former swimmer Michael Klim and former yellow Wiggle, Emma Watkins.

She describes her interview style as forging real, authentic, optimistic and humorous conversations with her guests.

You can catch An Evening with Drew Barrymore in Sydney on Friday 02 August at 8pm at the ICC Sydney Theatre and in Brisbane on Saturday 03 August at 8pm at the Brisbane Convention and Exhibition Centre, South Brisbane. Tickets range from $79 to $229 and are available through Ticketek.
