"Amanda Tells All Messages from Beyond Show"
Amanda De Warren is one of our own. She is a local, Sunshine Coast psychic, medium, healer, and animal communicator. She is one of Australia's best-known psychics. She has appeared on Australian TV shows, such as, Mornings with Kerri-Anne, Today Tonight, The Project, and A Current Affair, as well as, on many national and local radio programs. She also has a weekly column on Woman's Daily magazine aptly called 'Animal Whisperer'.

Amanda has initiated connections and communication between the living and their loved ones, both living and those on "the other side." Loved ones include both humans and animals. Needless to say, she is one gifted lady.

Amanda was aware that she was different, and that she had a special talent, as early as when she was only five years old. Although she is not the only one in her family to have psychic abilities, hers is strongest.

One day when Amanda was five, back in an English farm, a relative's dog went missing. She informed her relatives that the dog was lodged between the barn and some hay. Sure enough, it is where they located the lost dog.

As I asked Amanda some questions, she turned to my husband and asked him if he had a dog. She conveyed our much-loved, dead dog's message, which, to me, was personal, affirming and comforting. Yes, we did have to make a decision to end his suffering. And yes, we were happy to have given him a good, enjoyable life. Turning him from an eight-week old refuge pup into a much-loved family member was the least we could do. As a matter of fact, he had us from hello. After that, we were nothing else but the doting, silly dog-parents that we became.

Funnily enough on the day that Amanda was having this evening event, I felt strongly that my much-missed dog was close. Driving around and doing my errands on the day, I felt it. I kept it to my self though, rationalising it as nothing but wishful thinking. I have many family members on the other side, but the feeling that they were close on the day was not as strong as it was with the dog. So, go figure.

Amanda tells me that she sees images and pictures and that she simply has to pass on the message to the people concerned. She had a message for a lady who worked at the show before it started. Wendy said she understood the message Amanda conveyed coming from a gentle, quiet, intelligent male relative with a good sense of humour. She knew who Amanda got the message from.

The audience was around seventy people large; a mixture of young and old, male and female, and undoubtably, sceptics and believers. The room was full, and after the event had started, people still trickled in.

The 45-minute 'communication' part of the show ushered in a few sad souls who have taken their own lives. Family members left behind surely would have received some comfort from 'hearing' from them. Amanda gave validating elements to the concerned parties, most of which, was accepted and understood.

There was some crisscrossing of communication. Some information meant for parts of the audience were addressed to parties sitting or standing nearby. If we envision those on the other side as energy or pools of light, then something like it can well and easily happen.

There were messages from people who have passed on through natural causes and illnesses, accidents and, even, what was thought of at first was a murder but turned out to be a tragic accident. There was a message meant for someone who had gone for a toilet break. The spirits, it seems, do not mind when and where they come through with a message.

A Staffy that got hit by car came through for its female owner and said that it loved its daddy. It seemed to be the story of our dog-mothers' lives. We loved them, took care of them, nurtured them, stayed up when they were unwell, walked them, took them for their vet check-ups, and yet, they only had messages of love for their dads. What is with that?

As we are told we retain some of our characteristics when we we get to the great beyond, there were a few who came through with their old personality traits that their family members recognised well and validated. One affable chap came through singing 'happy birthday to me.' His living family member thought it was just like him.

The second part of the show was slotted for a discussion of related, albeit, highly-controversial topics: the after-life, animals who have passed on, reincarnation, our humanity's future, the Indigo Children, and the state and toxicity of our food and water supply.

Amanda spoke about what she sees and senses about the after-life and described it as a very peaceful, tranquil place. Audience members posed questions, such as, whether Amanda thought that animals also reincarnated. Amanda affirmed the question and mentioned that she has not come across any indication that animals and people cross-reincarnated. A shame, I honestly think. Surely, Hitler and his kind more than deserve to come back as maggots, or cockroaches. But the universe, apparently, does not work that way. It is, as we say, mysterious.

Amanda and Laura, organiser of Conscious Life Events, then delved into a discussion with the audience of our humanity's future, about the Indigo or Star Children. Indigo children, also sometimes referred to as star children, are supposedly, our future's salvation. They are, reportedly, trained old souls, being born now and will be born in different stages, as highly-spiritual, greatly-empathetic and especially-creative people who will teach peace and harmony, and will, eventually, lead humanity to its next stage of spiritual evolution.

As we are all, hopefully, aware, our world and Mother Earth seems to be on its way to destruction. It really is no wonder, and it does not take any special psychic ability to see, that the greed and excess, mismanagement and unconsciousness of some will lead to this planet's ruin. All the current wars, religious and racial intolerance, mindless killing and maiming of fellow human beings, shameful imbalance in the distribution of earth's wealth, natural disasters, gross and mass poverty in some parts of the world, incurable diseases, and the disregard of animal lives, to name only a few, can be seen as pointing to a shared, adverse, stark future.

At the same time, there seem to be among us, more and more people who are becoming increasingly 'aware' and to be waking up to the fact that the present status quo can not simply go on without calamitous effect. As a result, they are doing what they can to start a change for the better, even if it starts with themselves, their family units, groups of friends, and then the wider community and world.

Laura, creator, organiser, promoter, and manager of Conscious Life Events, talked about how she had her own 'awakening' when her mother died. What must have been a life-changing experience for her, caused her awareness to shift. She has since then dedicated herself to creating collaborative events and comings-together of spiritual teachers and students so as to be able to do what she presently can to contribute to the improvement of other people's spirituality, health, well-being, and of nature. Whether it be putting together events, workshops, festivals, and expos, Laura addresses the awakening of our consciousness by showcasing eco-friendly products, sharing inspiring practices, celebrations, and other like-events.
