Amora Jamison, Hotel in Sydney City, is an amazing way to treat yourself. If you decide that staying in a hotel room in order to enjoy a city escape is not your forte, then at least consider the Amora spa.

Their rooms are filled with the most tasteful decor. A friend of mine stayed in one of the rooms, and she really appreciated the high speed internet access and Wi-Fi facilities that came with her stay. At many hotels, internet access is available for an additional charge, yet at Amora Jamison, internet usage is all inclusive. There is broadband access across the entire hotel.

The decor is rather tasteful, and makes way for an amazing home away from home. Elegant, chic and classic furniture that is well maintained in all 415 rooms. Games consoles are also included. The deluxe twin and king rooms are similar to top guest and standard rooms in many hotels. City views are also enjoyed from these rooms. The best rooms in the house are the Jamison Club Rooms on the top floor of the hotel.

Guests who stay at one of the Jamison Club rooms enjoy amazing Sydney Harbour views, as well as complimentary breakfast. Guests who stay at the top also enjoy evening drinks and canapes with full use of the hotels business club facilities. Speaking of business, I have come to enjoy the function rooms and the hotels conferencing facilities. Great decor and service. Words just can't describe this experience: once you arrive here it is difficult to leave.

The great thing about booking your room at this hotel is that there is a flexible cancellation policy if your plans change.

With the Amora Spa, if you're lucky you can enjoy a quality Thai Massage for only $55 for half an hour. Only the highest quality oils are used. A combination of firm and hard massage techniques are applied, leaving you feeling fantastic. The pressure level is up to you.

Many people who have eaten at this hotel have also boasted about the delicious seafood. Their accommodation specials on a Saturday night also include tempting seafood packages. For $389 per person twin share, you can enjoy one nights stay in a deluxe room together with a seafood dinner for two at the Galley Restaurant. You need to be seated by 6:30pm. A complimentary glass of sparking is included, as well as a buffet breakfast for two.

This hotel has also received the Green Globe Benchmarked Bronze status for their commitment to the environment in minimising waste.

This hotel is close to both Wynyard and Circular Quay train stations. Walk up the hill from the hotels entrance on Jamison Street; you now find yourself at a small, albeit relaxing oasis that is called Wynyard Park. You're a short stroll away from the popular Establishment Bar. For business travellers, you're right near the Australian Stock Exchange and the financial district of Sydney - Martin Place.

For those who wish to attend church during their stay in Sydney, right opposite Wynyard Park, you will find yourself at Church Hill right near the gateway to the Sydney Harbour Bridge. Church Hill is home to churches of many religious denominations.

For leisure travellers, you're only a couple of blocks walk from Circular Quay and The Rocks area. On the weekends, The Rocks Market sells many high quality crafts and jewellery. Circular Quay is home to the ferries and some quirky, free street entertainment.
