Amity Dry is an Australia singer-songwriter who has just completed a flawless tour around Australia with her new cabaret Fortified. Dry, who is also well known for her appearances on channel nines reality show The Block, brought a heartfelt and powerful performance to Australian audiences.



Fortified is a tell-all cabaret about Dry's recent divorce to longtime husband and Block reality star Phil Rankine. Dry opens up to her audience about love, loss and discovering her inner strength. Her cabaret is raw and vulnerable, but her powerhouse vocals make it seem anything but. Created and written by Dry, she walks us through her life whilst building a connection to her audience, who laugh and cry along with the singer's honesty, comedy and sincerity. Her use of war motifs to express the difficulties of her recent journey well demonstrate her theme that sometimes you need to blow your life up in order to start again.
