Good Mexican isn't easy to come by. The greasy, oily taco appears all over our city, but where can you find something a little more traditional? More importantly, where can you find some Mexican that's healthy? It sounds foreign but it's right at home, Cantina Latina.

They make the best of Mexico. Enchiladas, burritos and nachos. They also have some beautiful muesli with fresh fruit along with some vegetarian selections that any meat eater would enjoy. Add chicken, beef or the refreshingly different pork chorizo. They have a variety of spice levels but don't worry, they do mild, which they have apply named 'Gringo'. On top of the food they have some carbonated beverages that I haven't seen anywhere else. Choose non-alcoholic sangria, tangerine, coconut or one of the other exotic bottles of soda to wash it all down.

It's a tiny shop covered in mahogany colours, dominated by the thick wooden benches that line the wall. The beautiful girls that work there are friendly which is expected, but they also sound Mexican which now days, is a welcome surprise. They sometimes take a little time to make it, but it's worth the wait. The prices can be quite reasonable depending on what you get. But remember, this isn't your average enchilada.
