American Express Openair Cinemas will commence in March 2018. This is a great place to see a movie with the family. What could be nicer than sitting outside on a summer's night, relaxing and watching a movie!

This is a list of all the movies to be shown in March and they will be on at the American Express Open-Air Cinemas at the Ozone Reserve, Riverside Drive and Adelaide Terrace, East Perth.

With many of the shows, there will also be entertainment before the movie starts, so check at the bottom of this article for details/website.

This will be on the 9th March. It is rated "PG" and stars Hugh Jackman, Zendaya, Zac Efron and Michelle Williams.

The movie is about the exciting and colourful world of the circus, and it was inspired by the life of P.T. Barnum. The Greatest Showman is an original musical about the beginning of show business and tells of a "visionary" who rose from nothing to create a spectacle that became a worldwide phenomenon.

This movie is rated "PG" and is on Saturday 10th and Friday 30th March. It stars Dwayne Johnson, Karen Gillan, and Kevin Hart.

It is the story of four teenagers who find an old video game console and are literally drawn into the game's jungle setting, becoming the adult avatars of their choice.

[b]3. PITCH PERFECT 3[/b]
This movie is rated "M" and will screen on Sunday 11th March. It stars Ruby Rose, Hailee Steinfeld, and Anna Kendrick.

The now separated Bella reunite for one last singing competition at an overseas USO tour, but face a group who uses both instruments and voices.

This acclaimed Golden Globe winner will screen on Tuesday 13th March. It is an "MA15 " rated movie starring Sally Hawkins, and Richard Jenkins.

It is about a lonely janitor at a top secret research facility in the 1960s, who forms a unique relationship with an amphibious creature that is being held in captivity.

This will screen on Wednesday 14th March and is an "MA15 " rated movie, starring Frances McDormand, Woody Harrelson, and Sam Rockwell.

This is about a mother who personally challenges the local authorities to solve her daughter's murder.

This "MA15 " movie will be screened on Thursday 15th March, and it stars Mark Wahlberg, Christopher Plummer, and Michelle Williams.

This is based on a true story about the kidnapping of 16-year-old John Paul Getty III and the desperate attempts by his mother to get his billionaire grandfather, Jean Paul Getty, to pay the ransom for him to be released.

[b]7. I, TONYA[/b]
This will screen on Friday 16th and Thursday 22nd March,. It is an "MA15 " classification film starring Margot Robbie, Sebastian Stan, and Allison Janney.

It is based on the true story of ice skater Tonya Harding, who ranked amongst the top figure skaters in the US, but her future is thrown into doubt when her ex-husband intervenes.

[b]8. PADDINGTON 2[/b]
This will be screen on Saturday 17th March and is a "G" film, starring Brendan Gleeson, Sally Hawkins, and Ben Whishaw.

Paddington is now happily settled with the Brown family and he picks up a series of odd jobs to buy the perfect present for his Aunt Lucy's 100th birthday.

[b]9. THE POST[/b]
This will be on Sunday 18th March and is an "M" rated movie starring the fabulous cast of Meryl Streep, Tom Hanks, and Sarah Paulson.

This is also based on a true story of a cover-up that spanned four U.S. Presidents and pushed the country's first "female newspaper publisher and a hard-driving editor to join an unprecedented battle between journalist and government".

[b]10. MOLLYS GAME[/b]
This will screen on 21st March, is rated "CTC", and stars Jessica Chastain, Idris Elba, and Kevin Costner.

This is a true story of Molly Bloom, an Olympic-class skier who ran a very high-stakes poker game, and became an FBI target. You can watch the official trailer here:


[b]11. BLACK PANTHER[/b]
This will screen on Friday 23rd March. It stars Chadwick Boseman and Michael B. Jordan.

Released this year, it tells about T'Challa, who after the death of his father, the King of Wakanda, returns home to the technologically advanced African nation to succeed to the throne and take his rightful place as king.

[b]12. FERDINAND[/b]
This is on Saturday 24th March and is rated "G". It stars Kate McKinnon, Bobby Cannavale, and John Cena.

Ferdinand is a bull with a large heart, who is mistaken for a dangerous beast and is captured. He is desperate to return to his family, and this is his story.

This is on Sunday 25th March and is rated "M". It stars Guy Pearce and Kylie Minogue and was released this year.

It tells of a teenager who comes of age in a small Australian town during the 1970's when a 200-ton blue whale is washed up on a local beach.

[b]14. LADY BIRD[/b]
This will screen on Tuesday 27th March. It stars Saoirse Ronan, and Laurie Metcalf.

It looks fascinating and is about a 17-year-old girl in California.

[b]15. GAME NIGHT[/b]
This will be on Thursday 29th March and stars Jason Bateman, Rachel McAdams, and Jesse Plemons.

The story goes that a group of friends who meet regularly for game nights find themselves trying to solve a murder mystery.
