It's so relaxing watching movies outdoors as the sun sets and even better when there's great food and a beautiful location to enjoy it all. In November and December, American Express Openair Cinemas is bringing more than just outdoor movies to Adelaide this summer - they are bringing an experience.
With more than 30 screenings happening on the beautiful banks of the River Torrens in the heart of the city, the festival vibes will be in full swing every night. You'll enjoy an array of alternative entertainment, live music and DJ performances before the latest and greatest feature films kicks off on the big screen.
The fab Chimmichurri Grill food truck from Fork on the Road will be curating the daily menu of irresistible dishes available throughout the season. Of course, there's a fully licensed bar stocked with Giesen Wines, 4Pines craft beer, PIMM'S, Nexba and Haagen Dazs ice cream.
This year's program is an exciting mix of box office hits and highly anticipated new releases including A Star is Born, First Man, Bad Times at the El Royale, Bohemian Rhapsody, Beautiful Boy and Girl in the Spider's Web. Take a trip down memory lane with the cult classics Dirty Dancing and Love Actually or discover something different with The Dawn Wall, Badhaai Ho and Widows.
The American Express Openair Cinemas season on the banks of the River Torrens in Adelaide opens on Friday November 23, and continues until Sunday December 16. Bring your mates, partner, or bring the kids and have a great night out in Karrwirra Parri Park - adjacent to the Adelaide Convention Centre, and opposite Pinky Flat.
