A powerfully emotive musical centred around the engrossing quest for a soul mate and the romantic imaginings of an endearing middle-aged single Mother (Angela) and her two highly entertaining adult children (Kat & Tom). A highly professional performance with singing and acting that had you thoroughly entertained from start to finish. I suspect almost anyone present could relate to one or other of the main characters as they navigate complex family dynamics and new romantic opportunities. Many moments of light-hearted comedy balanced this poignant musical, leaving you feeling truly uplifted by the final scene. Accompanying live-music (Jake Amy) and actors were, likewise, outstanding. The show, written and directed by Karen Milkins-Hendry, ran for 70 minutes.
