The Australian dollar is soaring, and while this is not particularly good news for the tourism industry, it is great news for
those of us who regularly use internet retailers.
One of best offers for Australian consumers right now is from
Amazon.co.uk, who are offering
Free Super Saver Delivery to Australia and New Zealand. This is a genuine offer, the only criteria is you must spend over £25, which is roughly $39 (AU). Other factors you must take into account are that gift-certificates and items from third-party sellers on Amazon.co.uk Marketplace are
not eligible.
It is easy to tell which items are eligible and which are not; simply place the desired item in the 'Shopping Cart' and underneath, it will state "Eligible for FREE Super Saver Shipping," if this is not stated, you will be required to pay delivery for said item/s. Also all items must be delivered together (you will have to select this option when you purchase).
So what is on offer? You can pick and choose from hundreds of CDs, DVDs, Blu-rays and Books.
CDs and
DVDs are priced from around £3.99, which is around $6 (AU). There is also a
Blu-ray and DVD sale, which includes
2 Blu-ray titles for £15 - which is around $23 (AU). A range of
books are also on sale.
What's more is expect your account total to be reduced, as once you select to deliver to Australia, the
VAT is removed.

This offer will end on May 15, 2011.
